The Old North Church and Sustainable Marblehead are co-organizing an event on Sunday, February 11th in the efforts to fight climate change. State Representative Jenny Armini will be our headline speaker and she will discuss recent legislative actions and proposals for addressing climate change and environmental protection. Jenny will be followed by Eileen Mathieu, a Sustainable Marblehead leader who will provide a summary of the Net Zero Roadmap from the Green Marblehead Committee. The event will conclude with presentations from Marblehead Light Board Commissioner, Lisa Wolf, and Sustainable Marblehead Leader, Mark Adams, on things that homeowners can do to save money and reduce carbon output from their homes by going green. A summary of the federal, state and local incentives will also be covered. The event is free and open to the public.
