    Stories from the Writing Life:  a Modern Literary Salon Co-hosted by Creative Spirit and New England Indie Authors Collective Saturday, 11/2, 7pm-9pm Ticket Price:  $20 advance/$25 at door (cash only)   What is a “modern” literary salon? Find out on Saturday, November 2 at 7pm, when Marblehead's own Creative Spirit and The New England Indie Authors Collective will host four local writers from diverse backgrounds:  the founder of a small press and tech thriller writer; an MIT physicist, fiction writer, and former Wall Street executive; a Grub Street writing instructor, memoirist, and storyteller; and a world-traveler, humorist, and novelist. ? The authors will present their latest work and discuss the ins and outs of creative writing and their writing lives. Wine, cheese, and thoughts big and unconventional will be shared. The event will include a Q&A with the authors and a book signing with books being sold at a discount of 10%.? The Authors:? Jenny Pivor, an artist and writer has had a kaleidoscope of creative careers, which include teaching art, clothing design, web design, and even owning a self-publishing company. His one man show, "It's Now or Never: My Life in the Late Middle Ages," has been featured in Boston, and at theater festivals in the US and Canada. Randy Ross is a novelist, humorist, and performer. His novel "God Bless Cambodia" was published in 2017.
