Marblehead Festival of Arts Cod Auction Launch Party

We invite you to join us on Friday May 17th from 5 to 8 pm at the Old Town House where you can preview all the entries and enjoy music from a string trio. Up to 55 local artists are painting or decorating a wooden cod. The auction will go live that night and run through July 8th. All proceeds from the Cod auction go towards funding our annual Festival and scholarship fund. Many of our Cod Artists will be on hand to talk about their cod and what inspired them.

There will be several raffle items up for grabs at the Launch Party, with two very special items: Dave Barber, a local Marblehead Artist will be painting a cod blank just for our raffle, and Kiki Taron Kinney of QuitsaKiki Designs is making a 22kt gold Cod Pendant. Raffle tickets for these and other items will be on sale during the evening.
